Job Description:

The Association of University Radiologists, P.C., dba "University Radiology", a 40+ physician practice, is seeking fellowship trained candidates (including Fellowship graduates in '23 and '24) with the following subspecialty expertise: Abdominal / Body Imaging
Cardiothoracic / Chest Imaging Neuro Imaging Nuclear Medicine / PET Imaging University Radiology covers the largest hospital in Knoxville, TN, The University of Tennessee Medical Center, as well as several outpatient imaging locations across the community.
We have recently entered into a joint venture agreement with our hospital that will bring an additional 3 Outpatient Imaging Center locations into our group.
In addition to our strategic outpatient growth, the group has great relationships with our Brain Spine Institute, Heart Lung Vascular Institute, and Cancer Institute, which will provide for ample collaborative referral and patient care opportunities in these desired subspecialty areas.
As a result of this continued growth and expansion, we are seeking friendly, flexible, and fast paced radiologists to join our team.
The position blends the best of academic medicine and being able to work with and teach residents, but yet work in a private practice environment with a completely independent partner owned practice.
The group is flexible in terms of offering both 2 year partnership track positions with approximately 1:5 weekend DX call to employment positions with a fixed number of shifts and weekend responsibilities.
In addition to these flexible offerings, the group has a robust internal shift "buy/sell" system that allows those who wish to work/earn more the opportunity to do so and similarly those desiring more time off may also do so by giving up shifts.
The practice has a dedicated overnight and after hours service team such that these positions would have no to very little after hours call responsibilities.

Our group's partners consistently rank in the upper echelon of both W2 income and time off, currently projecting at approximately 65 days off annually, as compared to industry benchmarks.
The practice also provides excellent benefits and additional compensation opportunities through the Graduate School of Medicine at The University of Tennessee.
There is no state income tax and Knoxville is consistently ranked as one of the top places to live by many travel and living magazines and publications with a cost of living below large metro areas.
