Job Description Job Title: Cutting Table Operator - At Hydra Pools Job Description: Running and Operating Cutting Table Responsible for accounting of scrap and damage control. Prepares paperwork associated with the cutting department. Sets up and operates a cutting machine equipped with rotary or reciprocating blades to cut rolls of material into parts. Reads the production package to determine dimensions of sheets to be cut. Inserts shaft into core of one or more rolls and raises and positions roll or rolls on cutter rack. Threads ends of materials through feed rollers, under or across cutting blades, and aligns material against machine guides. Readjusts machine to ensure specified dimensions of sheet. Observes operation of machine to detect malfunctions such as jamming, wrinkling, or tearing of material. Stops machine to make required adjustments. Requirements : Ability to stand for extended periods of time, as well as lift at least 25lbs. Comes to work on a regular basis and predictable manner. Demonstrates the ability to get along with fellow employees. Able to read and interpret written information.
