Tetra Tech's commitment to hiring the best talent in the industry and helping them thrive professionally is stronger than ever. We are currently seeking a Simulation Modeler for or Oak Ridge, TN location.

Responsibilities:

* Creates discrete event simulation models for Tetra Tech customers.
* Build, and document simulation models.
* Analyze models identifying the best configuration based on the customer's needs.
* Attend meetings, either in-person or virtually with Tetra Tech personnel and customers.
* Deliver completed models within specified time constraints.
* Keep Tetra Tech Management appraised of project progress.

Requirements:

* Bachelors or Masters in operations research, industrial engineering or relevant field.
* Experience building and analyzing discrete event simulation models. Knowledge of statistical concepts, discrete event simulation and general manufacturing operations.
* Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
* Able to effectively elicit information from the customer and communicate simulation concepts and results.
* Should have experience with the ExtendSim simulation software.
* Experience in food manufacturing and high-speed processes highly desirable.
* Must have or be capable of obtaining a DOE Q-clearance.
* A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
* Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
