How you'll make your mark
As an Accounts Payable Associate who values collaborative teamwork
and excellent customer service, you'll be an avid learner with
responsibility for over 40 Account Payable interfaces. You will
also play a significant role in our No Pay strategy, payment
optimization, and other highly technical AP sub-processes. Internal
and external customer support including training, answering
questions, troubleshooting, and contributing to research and issue
resolution will all be important aspects of the role too, so strong
people and communication skills are essential alongside your
exceptional analytical abilities. Other key responsibilities
include:
Executing quality and secondary review of vendor set ups and
modification to ensure compliance with 1099 reporting
requirements.
Invoice processing of priority non-purchase and purchase order
invoices in SAP. Also processing of foreign currency wire
requests.
Assisting with managing the Telecom interfaces with respect to
timely bill processing, remittance of monthly reallocation journal
entries, and receipt of supporting back up files/reporting.
Supporting the 1099 compliance and reporting process.
Reviewing Bank, GL, Payment Program (BIP, VCA, P-card, and Meeting
card) account monthly reconciliations. Monitoring aging items and
conducting timely follow ups or escalations as required.
Assisting audit documentation requests for internal and external
audits.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need a minimum 5+ years of experience in a leading role in
Accounts Payable, preferably within an Audit/Accounting background.
Able to demonstrate solid problem-solving skills and attention to
detail, you'll identify, investigate and resolve anomalies in the
data, as well as being able to understand and grasp processes,
concepts and establish procedures to create efficiencies. In
addition, you'll also need:
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
The ability to adapt to change and find creative and innovative
ways to solve issues.
To be adept at prioritizing work requests and meeting
deadlines.
To be able to look at new technology and see potential for the AP
group.
A robust knowledge of ERP system, SAP.
Systems experience: SAP, Ariba, Fieldglass, SOVOS.
