Here's what you can expect in the role as a Loan Processor:

The Loan Processor position exists to collect, evaluate, and prioritize thenecessary elements to approve and build a loan using Federal and Stateregulatory guidelines. This role does not negotiate or advise credit terms.

Job Duties:

---Manages the loan pipeline to ensure loans fall within Federal and Stateregulatory guidelines along with company policies and procedures andpromotes and protects company reputation while avoiding costly fines.

---Minimizes points of contact for customer, often communicating on behalfof various internal groups, including but not limited to Loan Specialists(LO) and Land Examiners while accurately documenting all conversations andactivities.

---Provides detailed expectations to and between buying customers and HomeCenters using various methods of communication.

---Determines proper documentation required based on income/employment typesand loan types to verify income, employment, and other financialstipulations to ensure the customer's ability to repay the loan.

---Calculates income using information verified borrower criteria andre-calculates debt ratios on behalf of the Loan Specialists (LO).

---Orders and verifies items such as flood certification, title commitments,appraisals, surveys, closing invoices, and e-signatures using VMF system or3rd party vendors.

---Gathers, monitors for accuracy, and sorts documents collected by HomeCenters & 3rd parties and customers including but notlimited to customer identification, property owner's agreements, parkaddress and contact information, home invoices, trade home titles, proof ofproperty ownership, real estate purchase agreements, bi-weekly mortgagerequirements, job gap letters, site rent, living expenses, landlordreferences, used home repairs, etc.

---Orders and verifies items such as flood certification, title commitments,appraisals, surveys, closing invoices, and e-signatures using VMF system or3rd party vendors.

---Meets and regularly maintains department phone availability and standardsto include but not limited to call quality, accuracy, loan turn time, andRaving Fans Index (RFI).

---Performs other duties as assigned.

What you'll need to qualify:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, college preferred.
  • Computer competency with Microsoft Office and typing skills at minimum40 wpm.
  • Ability to conduct research and make knowledgeable decisions regardingissues relation to mortgage loan processing.
  • Great attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability toperform under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
  • Positive, resilient attitude while remaining flexible to change.
  • Self-motivated and dependable.
  • Ability to work in a solution oriented, team environment.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, especially verbal and phoneetiquette.
  • Willing to learn, hard-working, determined, and assertive.
  • Effective at multitasking and quickly adjusting prioritization of loanfiles.
    But also, remember you:
    • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
    • Will be constantly operating a computer and other office productivitymachinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and computerprinter.
    • Will be communicating 90% of the time over the phone. Must be able toexchange accurate information at all times.
    • Must be able to identify and assess account status and determineappropriate process.
    • Will constantly work in a state-of-the-art indoor temperaturecontrolled, sealed window office environment.
