as the Blount School Based Master's Liaison program today!The
Blount School Based Master's Liaison Duties: Duties include
providing evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy to
clients and families, coordinating with assigned schools and other
McNabb programs to ensure wraparound care is provided, and complete
all documentation.Summary of role of team: Functions as a member of
a treatment team to plan, implement, and evaluate successful
interventions for children and families. The holder of this
position will provide individual, family, and group counseling
sessions including initiatives that encourage communication, trust
building, and responsibility of actions and clinical process of all
activities.Summary of position: Serves as the primary clinician
that provides counseling/liaison services to a predetermined number
of children/youth and families in the Alcoa City School Systems.
Interfaces with the school system and other agencies to increase
cooperation and consistency between home, school, and community.
Functions as a member of a treatment team to plan, implement, and
evaluate successful interventions for children and families.
Assessment and Counseling Services provide therapy services and
screens individuals for admission to individual therapy or other
services such as care coordination, case management, and medication
services based on the individual's unique strengths, needs,
abilities, and preferences. TYPICAL WORKING
CONDITIONS/ENVIRONMENTThis position operates primarily in the
community within Alcoa City Schools and in the home setting.JOB
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESThis job description is not intended to be

a multi-disciplinary team approach to meet the needs of persons
served.Represents the Center professionally in dress, presentation
and demeanor.Participates in treatment team.Work with other
professionals in the community, to promote continuity of care and
further program development.Coordinates with community members to
meet the needs of consumers.Provide linkage to other community
supports, agencies, or services that are appropriate for client.2.
Complete all documentation in compliance with CARF, insurance and
funding standards.Work with leadership team to ensure grant
requirements are met.Update required paperwork every 6 months, or
sooner if appropriate, with consumers.Completes treatment plan
within 30 days of initiating treatment.All documentation within 24
hours of initiation.3. Monitoring of treatment effectiveness and
compliance.Ensure that all policies are accurate, thoroughly
documented and consistently applied.Make sound decisions when faced
with multifaceted problems.Devote appropriate time and effort to
the development of professional competence as evidenced by
attending a minimum of 1 professional training annually.Achieve
optimal level of desired program goals and outcomes as measured by
program productivity standards.Meet productivity standards set by
the program.Attends supervision as scheduled without
tardiness.Attends administrative team meeting when on site without
tardiness.Meets QA/QI indicators as set by the program.Facilitates
evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy.Meet weekly
with direct supervisor to discuss clinical and administrative
concerns/ changes.COMPENSATION: Starting salary for this position
is approximately $47,838 /yr based on relevant experience and
education.Schedule: This position requires in-person, daily
attendance Monday through Friday during school hours.Travel: Travel
is required to and from the schools this position serves. Client
transport may be necessary and would be done with a personal
vehicle. Equipment/Technology: Must have basic competency in office
applications such as Word and Excel. Will have access SurfacePro
and Center cell phone for scheduling and completing data entry in
the electronic medical record. Position requires regular use of a
computer, and appropriate phone etiquette. Position is required to
respond to all voicemails, emails and messages within 24
hours.QUALIFICATIONS - Blount School Based Master's
LiaisonEducation: Master's degree in Human Services or related
field with coursework or experience in the areas of cultural
diversity, human development, etiology and treatment of mental
illness, alcohol and drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, and
intellectual disabilities. Demonstrated knowledge and competency in
mental health service provision and leadership. This position also
requires that the employee has an F Endorsement on his/her Driver
License to be available to transport individuals as needed. This
position requires utilizing a personal dependable vehicle to
conduct Center business. Maintaining a dependable vehicle and
certified driver status is a condition of employment. Required to
be certified in and adequately implement verbal and physical
de-escalation techniques. Experience / Knowledge: Must have course
work and or experience in the areas of cultural diversity, human
development, etiology and treatment of mental illness, alcohol and
drug abuse, physical and sexual abuse, suicide, and
neurodevelopmental disorders. One year experience preferred.
Experience working with children is preferred although applicants
may have other skills and experiences that could accommodate this
position. This person will either possess experience or training in
the Re-Education Philosophy or will acquire such training in the
course of employment.Physical: Exposure to biological hazards.
Hearing of normal and soft tones. Close eye work. Lifting up to 50
lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 150 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing,
walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. Regular attendance is an
essential job function. Required to be certified in CPR/First Aid
and trained in Handle with Care de-escalation techniques. Ability
to effectively and ethically counsel children and families. Ability
to present professionally and work within a team format to plan,
implement, and evaluate successful interventions. Ability to
effectively run and process groups with children and families.
Ability to work within a team format to meet positive goals for
children and interface with other agencies involved in the ecology
of the family. Must have mental ability to exercise sound judgment
under pressure. Ability to exercise sound judgment and effective
decision-making, ability to set and demonstrate appropriate
boundaries, ability to be an empathic listener, flexibility,
willingness, and adaptability to working with diverse populations.
Must also have the ability to communicate effectively and possess
good time management and organizational skills. An essential job
function is a reliable, predictable 40 hour per week job, on site
and in the community, with regular attendance. Hearing of normal
