Kelly Scientific is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Rockford, TN.--Temp to HireShift: Monday - Friday 8:30am- 5pmCompensation: $14/hour--The laboratory technician will perform standard microbiological analyses on food, water and environmental samples. This will include QC record keeping, data entry of samples, weighing of samples, plating/streaking of samples and the reading of plates. Media preparation, housekeeping and other activities will also be required.--QUALIFICATIONS:

• Four-year college degree in either Food Science and Technology, Biology, Microbiology, or related field.
• General microbiological ecology and physiology knowledge, aseptic technique, basic knowledge of PCR based detection systems, microbial identification.
• Computer skills, working with Microsoft Word and Excel, good communication skills, able to work in groups and alone.Interested?
