Job Description:

    • This position is responsible to assist Material Coordinators in Operating Room as well as Blount Memorial Out Patient Surgery Center in performing the procurement process of supplies and equipment to support the daily operations of the following departments: Surgery, Holding, Recovery, Anesthesia, Sterile Processing and BMOS. The Inventory Control Clerk works closely with OR Material Coordinators focused toward efficiency, cost control, inventory reduction, and supply conversions. The Inventory Control Clerk assist the OR Coordinators with the responsibility of the OR and BMOS inventory, verifying supply replenishment, returns, and equipment repairs.
      • Education and/or experience: High School Diploma and minimum 5 years of experience preferred working with supplies in the healthcare Supply Chain in an Operating Room environment.
      • Knowledge: Requires thorough knowledge of Surgical Products and Supply Chain functions and knowledge of standard business software.
      • Skills: Must possess interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clinicians, technicians, sales representatives, and various healthcare providers.
      • Abilities: Must be able to successfully problem solve and perform during stressful situations with respect to extreme demands on time and resources. #RPM Work Type: Full Time (0.75 - 1.0)Work Hours: 8:00-4:30
