JonesSALARY: up to $21.00 /hour based on location and
experiencePRIMARY PURPOSE:The purpose of this part-time position is
to support NPCA's Southeast (SERO) staff in park resource
protection and management. Duties will include administrative
support for SERO staff, including Regional Council members, and
volunteers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: % of TimeProvide support to the
Regional Director and other members of SERO team. This includes
calendar management, arranging travel, proofreading, maintaining
correspondence files, data entry, scanning, mail distribution.
45%Coordinate logistics for conference calls and meetings.
20%Manage outgoing NPCA/SERO mailings and assist with publication
production and distribution. 20%Schedule meetings with Capitol Hill
members/ staff and make arrangements for DC or in district meetings
with members of Congress. 10%Assist the Government Affairs,
Development, Conservation, and Regional Operations teams as needed
to support SERO's park protection work. 5% Other duties based on
needs of the region and organization. Other:Promotes policies that
are sensitive to the needs of a diverse region, network, and

background. Participates in developing department goals,
objectives, and systems. Participates in administrative staff
meetings, organization-wide meetings, staff committee meetings,
training programs, and attends other meetings and seminars as
designated by the supervisor. Assists in evaluation of reports,
decisions, and results of department in relation to established

position.Minimum Work Schedule: Flexible 18-hour work week. Core
office hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday (half day
Fridays). Some nights and weekends may be required.SCOPE OF
POSITION: This position requires highly effective administrative
and outreach skills. Staff must be able to support and work with
all members of the Regional Office. MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1-2
years relevant job experienceProficiency in the MS Suite of
products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and others as
required. Knowledge of social media tools would be helpful.Ability
to work independently, reliably, and as part of a team in a virtual
setting. Excellent verbal, listening, writing, and editing skills
