MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Jefferson City Housing Authority, 942 E. Ellis Street, Jefferson City, TN 37760 is seeking a full time Maintenance Supervisor. $23-$28/hr based on experience, benefits applicable after trial period. Job related duties require working occasional overtime, weekends and holidays and the ability to respond to emergency maintenance needs when necessary. Extensive knowledge and experience in the maintenance and construction trades, experience supervising and directing the activities of maintenance staff, considerable knowledge of safety precautions required for maintenance and construction activities and strong interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills. Jefferson City Housing Authority was founded by J. G. Newman in 1953. He continued on as the Executive Director until he retired in 1990. His position was filled by Mary Helen White until her retirement in 2015. The current Executive Director is Keith Godwin.
JCHA administers 199 income-based Public Housing units located in Jefferson City, Tennessee. We began with 32 units, added 30 more units in 1961, another 62 units in 1970, another 47 units in 1976, and finally 28 units in 1982.
