Job Description:

SUMMARY The incumbent's position will consist of but not limited to operating the following pieces of equipment or processes:-- NC Lathes, NC/CNC Turning, Drills, Saws, Hard-Boring, Broaching, Hob, Hone, Shaper, Tooth Rounder and possibly Fork Trucks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Report to work on time and per your work schedule. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential job duty.
• Set up and operate the above operations efficiently with written operational instructions.
• Will be expected to perform fixture changes/adjustments and replace consumable tooling and apply Operator Process Control training to statistically monitor and maintain quality within the established capabilities of each operation.
• Responsible to maintain levels of production safely, efficiently and within the prescribed cycle times established on set-up instruction sheets.
• Perform minor maintenance, material handling, safety, administrative, and other functions as required to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Perform other requested functions related to plant operations as customer requirements and production demands dictate.-- Position requirements are subject to change based on product or manufacturing changes and revisions or refinements in equipment, technology, processes, developments, systems, policies, programs, customer requirements, etc.
