Shipping / Receiving Clerk

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $19.00 - $23.00 / hour; depending on experience

Location: Knoxville, TN

**Must know UPS WorldShip, how to batch large shipments, check-in shipments and handle delivery management.**

Responsibilities:

• Process and prepare shipments to ensure all shipments meet the daily cutoff.
• Receive and stock all receipts same day.
• Process warehouse transfers.
• Cooperatively work with other departments within BBI to continually develop processes and procedures that increase the efficiencies of the company.
• Work with the warehouse manager to reduce inventory shrinkage.
• Keep a safe , orderly & clean workspace.
• Follow all safety guidelines.
• Demonstrate team spirit and readily perform all tasks or special projects at the request of Management as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
  Qualifications:
  
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience one to two years experience in Warehousing disciplines
• Computer literate within a Microsoft Windows environment with an emphasis on Excel
• Process Fedex/UPS packages preferred.
• Detail oriented
• Proven ability to make decisions and take responsibility for their outcome.
• Team-Player
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed.
