Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking a PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR for their manufacturing facility in North CarolinaThis job will have the following responsibilities:Responsible for the supervision, coaching and leading of the production lines.Work side by side with Human Resources for hiring, retention and discipline of employeesResponsible for leading and teaching Continuous Improvement activities to improve manufacturing processes and reduce waste.Encourage a continuous improvement environment by promoting new ideas and institutionalize 5S and other Continuous Improvement ToolsRequirements/Skills:Bachelor's Degree is preferred but will consider additional experience in lieu of a degreeBilingual Spanish skills are a plus.FDA or USDA Experience is a plus2+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturingSome formal Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing experience is a plusUI901981
