Job Description
We are looking to fill this position with someone that has
experience in the Transportation industry that wants to be a part
of growing team and industry. Great opportunity for someone looking

This Transportation Supervisor position works Monday to Friday,
6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with some flexibility needed depending on
the needs of the business. It will be a position that has on-call
responsibilities including assisting with delivering and training.
Prefer applicants with a Class A CDL.
Position responsibilities include:
Supervision and training of drivers
Ensuring deliveries are made in a safe and timely manner
Assists with monitoring of DOT logs
Ensure compliance with all DOT and company regulations
Coordinates the tracking of all relevant driver information and
performance metrics
Utilize various systems including Roadnet, PeopleNet, and
Samsera
Functions as a team member within the department and organization
and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Ensures drivers fulfill duties safely through training and by
monitoring vehicle safety, safe usage of ramps and handcarts, seat
and belt use, and safe lifting and product-handling practices.
Monitors safety programs and implement changes necessary to ensure
the health and safety of our associates.
Creates and maintains a safe and secure working environment.
Responsible for counseling of and documentation of all drivers in
accordance with company policy for all driver related systems
including DriveCam Department of Transportation (DOT) logs,
etc.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
1 - 3 years of distribution, logistics, transportation or related
work experience.
Basic/Intermediate computer skills including various software
applications and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
Associates/2-year technical
3 - 5 years of distribution, logistics, transportation routing
and/or related administrative experience.
Intermediate/Advanced computer skills including routing software
applications (Roadnet, AS400) and MS Office (Excel, Word,
Outlook)
