Position/Title: Sales Representative
FLSA Status: Exempt
Reports to: Branch Manager
The Sales Representative is responsible for the generation of new
business in their assigned market through conventional sales
strategies and will be selling integrated petroleum fuel systems to
convenience store retailers and fuel marketers. Industry experience
is preferred but not required; we are looking for someone eager,
coachable, and able to excel in a very fast-paced environment. This
position offers significant earning potential for the right
--- Able to develop a high level of expertise regarding product
lines and industry regulations.
--- Displays or demonstrates products and services; increase
customer awareness of GFT's products and services including
equipment, repair & maintenance services, and installation.
--- Work in a team-oriented environment that requires working and
communicating positively and professionally with fellow employees,
customers, and vendors
--- Provide superior customer service, investigate and resolve
--- Manage assigned territory, by phone and in-person visits,
develop and maintain relationships
--- Abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and
instructions, including GFT Safety requirements
Education and Experience:
--- Bachelor's Degree preferred
--- Consultative selling skills with a proven track record of
--- Experience with point of sale, payment systems, and/or capital
equipment sales preferred
--- Experience with Microsoft Excel
--- 1-2 years sales experience in a consultative, full-cycle
--- Sales strategy and presentation skills
--- Basic mechanical and IT aptitude is required
--- Self-motivated and able to work with little direction on a
--- Ability to manage projects effectively, strong organizational
--- Must possess and maintain a safe driving record with valid
--- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and
Physical Demands: The physical demands of this position require
driving, sitting, typing, talking on the phone, using a smart
mobile device, use of a desktop computer, and walking/moving around
a job site that may be located in a warehouse or outside.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time Exempt
position (salary plus commission)
Travel: Travel is primarily local, vehicle allowance provided
