The ideal candidate for this position is willing to enter the Insurance Professional at an entry level, learning all aspects of the business with a desire to grow within our company.
Job DescriptionSales Consultant I is a salary with commission sales position within the Life and Health Insurance Profession, specifically the Medicare age market. This position is tasked with fostering new business opportunities through various channels provided by SBI as well as generating new business by growing relations with existing clients. This position is available In Office and Remote. Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing clientele accounts through periodic communication and analysis of needs
  • Source new sales opportunities through various company provided sources, including but not limited to, Proprietary Inbound lead programs, direct mail generation, walk in traffic etc.
  • Identify ways in which SBI's products can benefit customers potential/existing and enroll them in an honest, ethical, timely and consistent manner
  • Maintain accurate data within SBI's CRM system by updating existing customer data and entering new customer data
  • Operate in a fast paced team environment, consistently meeting assigned team and individual goals
    • Must possess a minimum education level of Associates degree
    • 1+ years Customer Service experience required
    • 1+ years Sales Experience preferred, not required
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize workloads
    • Strong Tech skills including Microsoft Office, DATA input, CRM system maintenance, Web Based meeting applications, and familiarity of intercompany phone systems
    • Active Life +Accident and Health State insurance licenses preferred, not required
    • A passion for customer service, servant leadership, coupled with a strong desire to grow both individually and professionally
