Medical Laboratory Technician Location: Powell, TN Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $734 to $928 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title MLT ASCP/AMT - NIGHTS City/State: Powell, Tennessee Shift: 18:00-06:30, Nights Contract Length: 12 weeks Start Date: 04/20/2026 Job Description: Performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states. Follows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing. Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. Responsibilities: Performs diagnostic testing on patient samples. Follows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing. Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits. Requirements: Chemistry, hematology, Blood Bank experience preferred. 1 year experience. Associate degree from an accredited Medical Lab Technician program or equivalent preferred. Valid MLT certification through TN State Licensure, ASCP, AMT, AAB, HHS, or equivalent accrediting agency required. Meet CLIA requirements: On or before April 24, 1995, be a high school graduate or equivalent and have completed a military medical laboratory procedures training course of at least 50 weeks duration.
