Job Description Job Description Standard Air Conditioning is hiring a full-time HVAC Lead Install Technician in Knoxville, TN, to expand our team. Schedule: 8 am-5 pm, Monday through Friday, with periodic on-call opportunities Your day begins at home as you head to your first job. You'll provide essential services by repairing and maintaining residential and light commercial systems. Your technical skills will be key in diagnosing faults, performing warranty services, and optimizing system performance. More than just a repair person, you'll act as a trusted advisor, identifying maintenance risks and offering long-term solutions while using field equipment like tablets and mobile phones to ensure compliance with service standards. WHAT YOU NEED TO BECOME OUR HVAC Lead Install Technician: 2 years of experience working independently as a service technician 2 years of hands-on HVAC diagnostic experience Valid driver's license Excellent customer service skills Good electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills Self-motivated to complete assigned tasks within time constraints Driven to succeed and able to work with minimum supervision Ability to complete repairs and required paperwork Ability to work independently Ability to be on-call periodically Ability to work in small and confined dark spaces such as crawl spaces, attics, etc. Ability to climb a ladder up to roof height Ability to occasionally lift up to 75lbs Ability to occasionally shoulder and overhead lift up to 25lbs Ability to push/pull a wheeled cart up to 150 lbs.
