Koch Foods, a leading poultry processor known for its commitment to quality and innovation, is seeking a Wastewater Technician to join our dedicated team. This role is crucial in managing and maintaining the water treatment systems to ensure environmental compliance and efficiency in our operations. As part of our Engineering & Maintenance department, the Wastewater Technician will be instrumental in supporting our efforts to sustainably manage wastewater generated from our processing activities, aligning with Koch Foods' commitment to excellence and sustainable practices. Operate and maintain the wastewater treatment facilities and associated infrastructure. Monitor treatment processes, perform water quality tests, and adjust systems as necessary to meet compliance requirements. Manage and supervise daily operations, including inspections and troubleshooting of wastewater systems. Record and report compliance findings, operational data, and system inefficiencies. Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and routine maintenance of all wastewater equipment. Contribute to safety and environmental audits to ensure that facilities comply with regulations and industry standards. Participate in the development and implementation of wastewater management plans and initiatives. Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and related equipment. Proficiency in using water quality testing instruments. Ability to analyze and interpret technical data and compliance regulations. Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Effective communication and documentation skills. Certification as a Wastewater Operator is highly desirable.
