Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Painter to join their team. As a Painter, you will be an essential part of the Mantel department supporting the staining and finishing of wood mantels. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Painter Location: Spruce Pine, NC Pay Range: $15 Shift: 1st Shift (7:00AM-3:30PM) What's the Job? Staining wood mantels with precision and care Applying clear lacquer over stained wood to ensure a high-quality finish Using pressurized paint guns to achieve a smooth, even coat Following safety procedures, including grounding paint drums, tanks, and containers to prevent static electricity Utilizing respirators and obtaining necessary medical releases to ensure safety compliance What's Needed? Experience with painting, staining, or finishing wood surfaces is preferred Ability to operate pressurized paint guns effectively Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting and material handling Willingness to adhere to safety protocols, including respirator use and static grounding Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship What's in it for me?
